Indranagar is a census town in Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Indranagar had a population of 17,679. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Indranagar has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 72%. In Indranagar, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age. An attraction of Indranagar is the Durga Puja celebrated with great pomp and show and also with dedication in the JuboSanstha Club.
