The Intelligent Web Business (IWB) Laboratory is one of the twelve labs under the department of Information and Industrial Engineering in the Yonsei University,[1][2] a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. It conducts a broad range of research in areas of semantic web, web services, agent theory, AI, data mining, management science and decision science.

Basic operation

The mission of Intelligent Web Business (IWB) Laboratory is to improve the quality and create a new model of business and life of the state-of-the-art information technologies such as semantic web, web services, agent theory, AI, data mining, management science and decision science. The IWB has been working to be recognized as a new direction for scientific research and development to explore the fundamental roles artificial intelligence and information technology.

Research areas

Members of IWB have contributed and interested research in fields of e-Commerce, e-business, u-Business, BPM, Business Intelligences, Knowledge management, Information Retrieval, Planning and Scheduling and Decision Support System.
