The waterfront-adjacent 21 story hotel is located at 510 Atlantic Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. History and Location
The InterContinental Boston opened in November 2006 as the first InterContinental Hotel in both Boston and New England. The hotel was awarded the “Hotel Development of the Year” at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in January 2007 and was designed by Boston-based firm Elkus Manfredi Architects.[4] The hotel is located across from the Financial District of Boston and overlooks the Rose Kennedy Greenway. It has an on-site parking facility operated by Icon Parking and is approximately a five-minute walk from the South Station stop on the MBTA, with access to Amtrak/Acela Express, bus, and subway (T).[5][6] Water taxis also provide service directly from the Logan Airport Boat Dock to a dock located behind the hotel.[7]

Miel "Brasserie Provençale"

Sushi-Teq
Opened in March 2007, the thirty seat Sushi-Teq is a first of its kind combination sushi and tequila bar.[11] It offers 69 different types of tequila, a wide variety of sushi options, and also encourages salsa dancing.[12]

RumBa also contains a private champagne bar, inspired by the Moulin Rouge, which is only open to the public on the first Saturday of every month for Champagne parties. The name was not inspired by the Latin dance, but rather is a Bostonian's pronunciation of "Rum Bar" with the R in Bar being silent.[13]

SPA InterContinental is a full-service, 6,600 sq ft (610 m2). spa and health club which includes a 45-foot (14 m) indoor heated pool, located on the second floor of the hotel.[14]
