Ipanema Technologies' is an IT company founded in 1999 by Jean-Yves Leclerc,Thierry Grenot and François Lecerf. They were acquired by InfoVista in early 2015. They develop systems for application traffic management, WAN visibility, WAN optimization, WAN acceleration, WAN control and Wan governance. It is headquartered in Paris, France and has development and marketing offices worldwide. Ipanema's autonomic networking system designed to manage up to very large enterprise wide area networks is used as a strategic solution by many enterprises.

Ipanema's key product features (WAN optimization, acceleration, visibility and control) are tightly coupled together and delivered through an integrated system architecture based on autonomic networking principles, to automatically, globally and dynamically manage the traffic.
