Iris Cahn

Iris Cahn is a Full Professor and Chair Emerita of the Film Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College in Purchase, NY.

Biography

Cahn earned her B.F.A. from SUNY Purchase College and her M.A. from New York University. She edits feature films and documentaries, and has directed short films. She was nominated for two Emmy Awards for specials and a series.[1] Her work has appeared at the Cannes Film Festival[2] and Sundance Film Festival, in addition to the Berlin, the New York Lincoln Center, and the Robert Flaherty Film Festivals. She has also worked theatrically and on network television.
