Issa family

Issa is an Arabic surname given to people who are descendants of Muhammad through his grandson Husayn ibn Ali son of Fatimah and Ali ibn Abi Talib. The Issa family is a family of Hashemite Quraishi origins. They are found in Lebanon in the village of Mashghara. Because of their lineage, they are sometimes referred to as sayyids. They are also the first cousins of the Husseini family.
