Jake Dotchin (born March 24, 1994) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Dotchin was selected by the Lightning in the sixth round (161st overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
During three seasons in the OHL with the Owen Sound Attack and the Barrie Colts, Dotchin earned 18 goals and 59 assist for 77 points, along with 279 penalty minutes, in 193 games.[1]
On April 19, 2014, Dotchin signalled the beginning of his professional career in signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Lightning.[2][3]
