Jake Marto (born August 11, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL.
On August 4, 2011, the St. John's IceCaps signed an undrafted Marto to a two-year American Hockey League contract.[1] Throughout the duration of his contract, Marto primarily played with ECHL affiliate of the IceCaps, the Colorado Eagles.
After his first season abroad in Sweden with Södertälje SK of the HockeyAllsvenskan, Marto remained in Europe in signing a one-year contract with Austrian club, Graz 99ers of the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL) on July 28, 2014.[2]
After one season with the 99ers, Marto returned to America to re-join the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL on September 15, 2015.[3]
