Jamie Weinstein
Jamie Weinstein is an American political journalist, opinion commentator, and satirist. He is one of the most prominent editors of The Daily Caller and author of The Lizard King.[1][2]
Early life and education
Weinstein, who grew up in Florida, graduated in 2006 from Cornell University with a B.A. in History and Government. He later attended the London School of Economics where he received a MSc in the history of international relations.[1][2]
Career
Weinstein's work has appeared in The Weekly Standard, The Daily Beast, and The Washington Examiner, among other publications.[3][4][5]
Weinstein appears regularly on MSNBC, Fox News, Hannity, HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, Morning Joe, Your World with Neil Cavuto, America's Newsroom, Fox and Friends, and Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld'".[6][7]
In 2012, Weinstein co-wrote a book called Lizard King, which was published by HarperCollins.[8]
In early 2016, Weinstein gave a speech in favor of Virginia governor Jim Gilmore's presidential candidacy at an Iowa caucus for a story. He was not a supporter of Gilmore's candidacy.[9]
Honors and awards
In 2011, Weinstein was named the funniest celebrity in Washington, D.C. by revamp.com.[10]
Personal life
Weinstein is in a relationship with Huffington Post political journalist Michelle Fields.[11] The two became engaged in late May 2016.[12]
