Zhang Jie (born December 20, 1982) also known as Jason Zhang is a Chinese pop singer. Jason Zhang made his debut with the champion of My Show in 2004.In 2005,he released his first album and won the Recommended annual media award by means of the signature song,The Plough. In 2007, Jason Zhang participated in Super Boy, which launched his career largely and made him popular with the public. In 2008,JZ hold his first personal concert .Thanks to his album,The day after tomorrow,he won Most Popular Male Singer. In 2010, Jason Zhang released his 7th album,It's love and owned his concert label.On November 28,he won Best Asian Artist in MAMA. In the same year,JZ was invited to attend Boao Forum for Asia(BFA) as the performing artist. In 2012,JZ began his first live tour in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In 2013,JZ attended the Spring Festival Gala for the first time. In 2014, JZ attended the opening ceremony of The 2nd Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing as one of singer of the theme song. On November 24,Jason Zhang won "Best International Artist" in AMA. On July 20, 2016,Jason Zhang, who performed Star Trek Beyond's Chinese theme song Lost in the Stars, attended the film's premiere at Embarcadero Marina Park South.
Up to now,Jason Zhang has already released 11 albums and hold 30 concerts.
In addition to carrying on with his music,Zhang is passionate about philanthropy.In 2012,Zhang donated 2,000,000 yuan as the startup capital of the Plough Care Funding,and launch the project of JZ music dream classroom.
Biography
2004-2006 Shang Teng&Universal
In 2004, Jason Zhang took part in the 1st season of My Show.After layers of strict selection, by virtue of the cooperation and Gou Wei original song, Love of the Plough, he won the champion and was signed to Shang Teng Universal after the competition.
In 2005, Jason Zhang released his debut album, The First Album. This album made Zhang earn numerous 'Newcomer' awards e.g. Global Chinese Music Chart Most Popular Male Newcomer award.
In 2006,After the release of his second album, Love Me Again, Zhang's music career was at stake due to the top management changes of the record company.
2007-2015 EE-Media
In 2007, Zhang decided to take part in Hunan TV's famous show Super Boy and won the 4th place. Zhang, the third runner-up of the show signed a deal with EE-Media had released an EP, The Most Beautiful Sun, in the same year, which significantly marked a fresh restart of his career.
In 2008, Zhang hold his first concert in Beijing. In October, he released the album, The Day After Tomorrow. With the good performance of the album, he won his first "Most Popular Male Singer (Mainland)".

2013年，张杰登上了央视春晚舞台[57] 。同年6月赴美国伯克利音乐学院进修音乐[58] ，游学归国后，11月，张杰第十场个人演唱会“It's Love 这就是爱”在广州国际体育演艺中心开唱[59] ，12月底推出第十张专辑《爱，不解释》[60] 。
In 2013, Zhang performed in the CCTV Spring Gala and studied in Berklee Music College in the summer. In the 4th season, Zhang released his 10th album, Just Love, and held his 10th concert in Guangzhou.
6月，张杰2014“为爱逆战”巡回演唱会启动，首站于2014年9月20日在首都体育馆举办[68] ，首轮巡演共有北京、杭州、南京、武汉、上海、福州、广州、深圳八个城市，张杰亲任巡演艺术总监，并推出个人专属LOGO和乐队【J.ZingStar】 行.星乐团。 8月16日，受邀出席南京第二届夏季青年奥林匹克运动会开幕式，与张靓颖、金秀贤（韩）、噶丽娅（俄）三位中外歌手一起压轴演唱青奥会开幕式主题歌《点亮未来》[5] 。 11月24日，在美国洛杉矶举办的第42届全美音乐奖(AMA)上获得“年度国际艺人奖(International Artist Award)”，是首位获得该奖的华语艺人[6-7] 。 12月13日，在第八届无线音乐盛典上获年度最受欢迎内地男歌手和年度最畅销专辑两个奖项[17] 。2014年，张杰接连受邀演唱了《古剑奇谭》、《二炮手》、《新神雕侠侣》、《美人制造》等电视剧的主题曲、插曲[72] 。12月17日，张杰演唱的古剑奇谭主题曲《剑心》获得2014国剧盛典“年度观众最喜爱的电视剧歌曲奖”[73] 。在华西都市报携手咪咕音乐推出的“2014名人堂·年度音乐”榜上，张杰的《爱，不解释》以1118.4401万的下载量（次）夺得“年度最畅销专辑”榜首[74]
In January 2014, Zhang was invited to take part in I Am a Singer (season 2) and his performance has nevertheless won critical acclaim from many prominent musicians and singers and earned him a growing fan base. From September to December, Zhang held his first live tour, Fight Back For Love, which caused a great response. Zhang was invited to perform the theme song, Light the Future, in the Opening Ceremony of the Nanjing Youth Olympics 2014. In November 2014, Zhang was presented with the International Artist Award at the 2014 American Music Awards, making him the first Chinese singer who was awarded such award.
In 2015, Zhang harvested many awards in different ceremonies. What's more, Zhang participated in some variety shows. In May,Zhang ends his eight-year contract with EE-Media. Meanwhile, his own studio became independent from EE-Media.
2016-present Planet Culture&Linfair Record
On February 7, 2016,Zhang sang the song,Shining Era,in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
On February 21, 2016(PST),Just For Star concert was hold in The Theatre of Ace Hotel,LA.Zhang took charge of the concert and invited David Foster and Lindsey Sterling to perform together.
On April 26, Zhang set up his personal label, Planet Culture, and cooperated with Linfair Record.
On July 16, 2016,JZ began his first world tour at Beijing Worker's Stadium and caused the giant echo.
On July 21, 2016,JZ performed Star Trek Beyond's Chinese theme song Lost in the Stars attends the film's premiereat Embarcadero Marina Park South.

Personal life
On May 5, 2011,Jason Zhang and Xie Na registered their marriage in Chengdu, China.On September 26, 2011, Jason Zhang and his girlfriend Xie Na married at Shangri-La, China - The Nearest Place to Heaven on Earth. They had a meaningful ceremony there, surrounded by family and their closest friends such as the Happy Family who host the Happy Camp, Nicky Wu, Xiaoshenyang, Bowie Tsang, etc.
