Javier García (handballer)

Javier García Cuesta (born April 20, 1947 in Mieres) is a former Spanish handball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics.

In 1972 he was part of the Spanish team which finished fifteenth in the Olympic tournament. He played two matches and scored one goal.[1]

Javier Garcia worked as the Team Handball Coach of the Brazilian National Team. Javier Garcia currently holds position of a head coach for the USA Men's National Team for Team Handball (starting October 2012).
