Jayantha Wickramarathne is a former Sri Lankan Inspector-General of Police in Sri Lanka.[1]
Educated at Thurstan College Colombo Jayantha Wickramarathne gained a second class honours degree in Public Administration and later joined the Sri Lanka Police as a Probationary Assistant Superintendent. He retired after a long career of 34 years in the Police and also awarded Purna Bhumi Padakkama, Sri Lanka Police award for excellent service.
