Jigoshop is an open-source content management system for eCommerce web sites based on WordPress.
Jigoshop was initially developed as a free eCommerce software solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with WordPress websites.
History
Jigoshop began its life as a product of UK based company Jigowatt Ltd. The first version was released on 31 May 2011 and it went on to grow in strength throughout 2011 and 2012.
Proxar IT Consulting purchased Jigoshop in March 2014.[3] From April 2014, under new management, Jigoshop was under active development.
