James "Jim" Guerin (1894 - December 1918) was an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a left wing-forward for the Clare senior team.[1]
Born in Ballycar, County Clare, Guerin first excelled at hurling in his youth. He made his first impression on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty when he joined the Clare team. He made his senior debut during the 1914 championship. Cooke went on to play a key role for Clare for a short period, and won one All-Ireland medal.[2]
At club level Guerin won two championship medals with Newmarket-on-Fergus. He later played with Ballycar.
His last game for Clare was during the 1918 championship.
