João Mendes de Briteiros (1250-?) was a Portuguese nobleman, member of the Court of Denis of Portugal.[1]

Biography

His parents were Mem Rodrigues de Briteiros and Maria Anes da Veiga,[2] a descendant of Forjaz Vermuis de Trastámara.[3] João was married to Urraca Afonso, daughter of Afonso III of Portugal and his mistress Madragana.[4]
