Joanne "Jo" Love (born 6 December 1985) is a Scottish female international football midfielder. She currently plays for Glasgow City, having previously played in the English FA Women's Premier League for Doncaster Rovers Belles. By the age of 23, Love had amassed over 75 caps for Scotland. Two years later she became the fourth player to make a century of appearances, behind Pauline Hamill, Julie Fleeting and Gemma Fay.[2]

Club career

In 2006 Love played in the American W-League for Cocoa Expos.[3]

After three years at Celtic, Love signed for rivals Glasgow City in February 2011.[4]

International career

In March 2000, Love was called up to the Scotland under-18 team at the age of 14.[5] She made her senior debut for Scotland in the 2002 Algarve Cup during a 3–0 defeat to Canada and scored her first international goal against France in a February 2004 friendly match.[6][7]

Love reached 100 caps in March 2011, in a 1–0 loss to Canada, during the 2011 Cyprus Cup and was awarded her 150th cap in a friendly match against Wales in August 2014.[2][8]
