Joe Waldron (born 1951 in Milltown, County Galway) is an Irish former sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club Milltown and was a member of the Galway senior inter-county team in the 1970s.
In 1972 he captained Galway to victory in the All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship when they defeated Kerry in the final. Waldron lost Senior Inter-County Football All-Irelands two years in a row with Galway after being beaten by Cork in 1973 and Dublin the following year in 1974. He is one of the few Milltown men to have been on both of the clubs Galway Senior Football Championship victories from 1971 and 1981, playing alongside his brother John in both finals.[1]
