Joshua Edward Lowe (born February 2, 1998) is an American baseball third baseman.
Career
Lowe attended Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia. He played third base and was a pitcher.[1] As a senior he was the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for Georgia after hitting .391 with 11 home runs and 39 runs batted in (RBI).[2][3]
On June 9, 2016, Lowe was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays as the 13th pick in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He spent his first professional season with the Princeton Rays where he batted .249 with 5 home runs and 26 RBI's.[4]
Personal
His brother, Nathaniel Lowe, played college baseball at Mississippi State and is also a prospect for the 2016 Draft.[5] His father, David, was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 1986 MLB Draft.[6]
