The Karambunai Integrated Resort City is a resort mixed development projects comprising water theme park, water spectacles and fountain, cable car, mangrove research centre, harbour cruise, aqua and spa village as part of the Tenth Malaysia Plan (10MP) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).[1][3] It is the largest resort project in Sabah,[4] covering an area over 3,339 acres and would create between 20,000 and 50,000 jobs for locals once it finished.[5]

In 2011, Cambodia's China Central Asia Group (CCAG) has teaming up with Karambunai Corp Bhd with the company will invest around RM310 million on the project.[6]
