Kelly-Moore Paints

Kelly-Moore Paints is a paint manufacturing company founded in San Carlos, California in 1946 by William Kelly and William Moore.[1] It has stores located in California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. San Carlos, and Hurst, Texas are home to manufacturing plants. Kelly-Moore also owns Capital Insurance Group, a regional insurer.[2] Due to challenges in the Colorado market, Kelly-Moore sold some stores and closed others, and exited the market. Also in late 2008, the Seattle plant was closed.
