Kenneth Barlow (born September 20, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player. Barlow graduated from the University of Notre Dame, in Notre Dame, Indiana.
College career
Barlow played college basketball at the University of Notre Dame, with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
He served as team captain his final two seasons, while helping the Irish to two NCAA tournament berths (1985, 1986), and a runner-up finish at the 1984 National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
Professional career
After college, Barlow was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1st round (23rd overall) of the 1986 NBA Draft.
Some of the clubs that he played in Europe with include: Olimpia Milano, Maccabi Tel Aviv, PAOK, Pfizer Reggio Calabria, Benetton Treviso, Olimpia Pistoia, and Mabo Livorno.
Personal
Ken has two sons who both played college basketball: Kelsey, who played at Purdue (now at UIC), and Keenan, who played for Tiffin. He also has a cousin, Ashley Barlow, who tri-captained the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team in 2009 and 2010. She played for Notre Dame from 2007–2010.
Ken is now a minister, at a local church in Indianapolis.
