Kurt Haggerty (born 8 January 1989) is an English rugby league footballer who plays for Bradford Bulls. He has also represented Ireland at international level, and was part of the squad at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.[1] He is the son of former St. Helens player Roy Haggerty.
Playing career
Bradford Bulls
Haggerty signed a one-year deal with the Bradford Bulls following the 2015 season,[2] and will wear the number 28 jersey in the 2016 season.
2016 - 2016 Season
Haggerty featured in the pre-season friendlies against Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers.
He featured in Round 1 (Featherstone Rovers) to Round 2 (Whitehaven RLFC) then in Round 4 (Leigh Centurions) to Round 9 (Sheffield Eagles) then in Round 11 (Workington Town) to Round 12 (London Broncos). Haggerty featured in Round 15 (Leigh Centurions) to Round 23 (Featherstone Rovers). Kurt played in the Championship Shield Game 1 (Whitehaven RLFC) to Game 2 (Halifax RLFC) then in Game 4 (Dewsbury Rams) to Game 6 (Workington Town) then in the Final (Sheffield Eagles). He scored against London Broncos (2 tries), Batley Bulldogs (2 goals, 1 drop goal), Halifax RLFC (1 try), Oldham Roughyeds (1 try) and Whitehaven RLFC (1 try).
At the end of the season Haggerty retired from playing in order to take up a coaching role with Toronto Wolfpack.

Coaching career
In 2013 he was appointed head coach of leading amateur club, Pilkington Recs competing in the National Conference League in Division 3. In 2013 he led the team to promotion to Division 2. In 2014 he repeated this success with promotion to Division 1. On the 17th October 2015, the team secured their 3rd consecutive promotion, to move into the Premier Division in 2016. In February 2016 he guided the team to their first ever Challenge Cup win over professional opposition, beating London Skolars 13-0 in the Third Round
