Ladies Beach

Ladies Beach (Turkish: Kadınlar Denizi) is a beach in Kuşadası, Aydın Province, Turkey. The beach is visited by local residents especially on Sundays.[1] The beach is sandy. The Turkish name, Kadınlar Denizi (Women's Sea), comes from the historical usage of the beach that only women were allowed to swim during the times of the Ottoman Empire. Today, Men and women are not separated since Turkey has a strong sense of secularism
