Lagoa Azol Lighthouse (Portuguese: Farol da Lagoa Azul, Portuguese for the blue lagoon), is a lighthouse located Lagoa Azul near Guadalupe, 15 km northwest of the city of São Tomé, capital of São Tomé and Príncipe.

Description

The lighthouse was built in 1997, it was a part of the project of the Portuguese Navy which was done on cooperation of the Luso-Santomean Military Technical Cooperation.[2]

The light characteristics is (fl. 1s, ec. 2s, fl. 1s, ec. 11s) and is run on solar energy.

It is open to the public and visitors can easily climb to the gallery.
