Lao Plaza Hotel is a hotel at 63 Samsenthai Road, Vientiane, Laos, located next to the Lao National Museum. It build itself as the first 5-star hotel in Laos, also most travel guides cite the smaller boutique Settha Palace Hotel as the finest hotel in the city.[1][2]The rooms of the hotel are described by Frommers as "bland" and decorated in beige and blue.[3]The hotel has 142 rooms and there are 3 restaurants, May Yuan Chinese Restaurant, KIKU Japanese Restaurant and Dok Champa-Casual Dining which serves authentic premier dishes and international cuisine.[4]
