The Lavallette School District is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Lavallette, in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2012-13 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 162 students and 16.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.79:1.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[3]

Students in public school for ninth through twelfth grades attend Point Pleasant Beach High School in Point Pleasant Beach, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Point Pleasant Beach School District, together with students from Bay Head and Mantoloking.[4] As of the 2013-14 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 361 students and 30.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.8:1.[5]
