Leslie "Les" Gaunt, known prior to 1948 as Leslie Goldberg or Les Goldberg,[1] was an English professional football right back who appeared in the Football League for Reading and Leeds United.[2] After his retirement he managed Newbury Town and worked in an administrative capacity for Reading.[1]
Personal life
Gaunt saw active service with the British Army in India during the Second World War.[1]
