Leslie Baily

Leslie Baily (1906–1976) was a journalist, and a writer and producer for BBC Radio from 1924-1946. He was known for his books about Gilbert and Sullivan.

Baily was born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England, on 14 December 1906.

He appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 13 January 1964.[1]

He died on 21 February 1976, aged 69.
