Letitia Gwynne

Letitia Fitzpatrick [1]) (b. 23 January 1962, Belfast)[2] is a Northern Irish journalist who now lives in Australia.

Broadcasting career

Letitia was a reporter for the Irish News, BBC Radio Ulster, Inside Ulster and BBC Newsline for BBC Northern Ireland, before joining UTV in February 1997.[3] After nine years with UTV reporting and presenting, she worked for Citybeat, and for the BBC, on The One Show, Spotlight, Panorama, Children in Need and for BBC Digital Knowledge and Learning.

Letitia Fitzpatrick is now Senior Journalist at the Wauchope Gazette in New South Wales in Australia.

Personal life

In 2005, Letitia appeared as the character of Yelena in a touring adaption of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya.[4] She appeared on stage alongside her second husband.She has two children from her first marriage. She was widowed in January 2007.

Letitia left UTV on 1 January 2009 and reverted to her maiden name. She worked as a freelance journalist for the BBC, on The One Show, Spotlight, Panorama, Children in Need and BBC Digital Knowledge and Learning.
