Levon Lachikyan (Armenian: Լևոն Լաճիկյան, 1955, September 7, Gyumri) art critic, graphic drawer.

RA Honored artist Samvel Lajikian’s brother.

Biography

In 1977 Levon Lachikyan graduated from the Philological department of Yerevan State University (YSU), 1980 - Completed Ph.D. in Aesthetics at YSU. Since 1999 he is a Member of RA Artists' Union, since 2005-Member of RA Journalists' Union.

He made a series of graphic drawings.

1981-1996 Lachikyan lectured at Yerevan State University, 1992-1994-An Art-critic at the daily “AZG”, 1996-2011 he had been Press secretary at Fund for Armenian Relief, since 2012 - Head of the Department of Armenian Communities of America at the RA Ministry of Diaspora, since 2013 to present he has been a lecturer at Yerevan State University.

Lachikyan's scientific and art articles were published in Armenian and international journals (“Bazmavep,” Hantes amsorya etc.) and encyclopedias (“Christian Armenia Encyclopedia”)^[1]
