Li Qian (Chinese: 李倩; pinyin: Lǐ Qiàn; born 6 June 1990) is a Chinese female boxer, she is the bronze goldlist of women's 75 km title at 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[1]
Career
Li was born in Henan, she and her parents immigrated into to Ordos, Inner Mongolia in 2001. During a study period at the Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Physical Education, she was a basketball fullback. With the advantages of enough height and arm length, she was attracted attention to the Chinese boxing team coach Ha Dabater, where she was recommended to enter into the Inner Mongolian boxing team in 2007.[2][3]
