Along with Alex Graves and David Nutter, Alan Taylor (pictured) has directed the largest number of episodes of Game of Thrones with six episodes.
Neil Marshall directed "Blackwater" and "The Watchers on the Wall" (which he received an Emmy nomination for), both episodes featuring large battle sequences.

Showrunners D. B. Weiss (left) and David Benioff (right) have each directed an episode.
