List of Noah's Arc characters
Below are characters of the TV series Noah's Arc. There are four main characters in the series and a couple of other recurring characters.
Main characters
- Noah Nicholson (Darryl Stephens), the protagonist of the series, is a struggling screenwriter who is naive to relationships.
- Alex Kirby (Rodney Chester) is an outspoken HIV counselor who demonstrates self-confidence and jealousy issues and a "take charge" attitude.
- Ricky Davis (Christian Vincent) is a free-spirit, sexually promiscuous owner of a men's clothing store on Melrose Avenue who avoids commitment. In the Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom feature film, he confesses his unrequited lark end Noah.
- Professor Chance Counter (Doug Spearman) is an economics professor who tries to maintain his sanity after moving in with his new love, Eddie, and Eddie's daughter, Kenya.
- Wade Robinson (Jensen Atwood) is a former screenwriter who befriends Noah. On the surface, Wade is the perfect catch - handsome, hunky and with a degree of success but he struggles with sexual identity issues. Though he initially insisted he was straight despite finding Noah 'sexually enticing', he realised he was gay after spending time with him.
Recurring characters
- Eddie McEntire (Jonathan Julian) is Chance's partner. A doting father, Eddie is drawn to Chance by their similar values and desire for a stable family unit.
- Trey Iverson (Gregory Kieth) is Alex's partner and an anesthesiologist. He is devoted to Alex, Alex's efforts to expand his livelihood and to his own work.
- Dr. Junito Vargas (Wilson Cruz), who appears unexpectedly in Ricky's life and captivates Ricky from the moment they meet. He is a doctor for the HIV clinic. Junito himself is HIV positive as well.
- Kenya (Jurnee Crapps in Season One, Sahara Davis in Season Two) is the daughter of Eddie's.
- Brandy King (Jennia Fredrique) is the boss of Noah who assigns him in screenwriting projects. She first appeared when Wade hosted a threesome with her and Noah. She works at Paramount Studios.
- Guy (Benjamin Patterson) used to be close friends with Trey and Wade. He was a straight-oriented man, but it was later discovered that he had secret affections for Trey.
Other characters
- Romeo (Dwen Curry) is an assistant that works for Ricky's store. He's around cross-dressed as a drag queen.
- Raphael (Jeremy Batiste) is an employee that works in Ricky's store. Ricky himself once had affections for Raphael, but later discovered that Raphael has affections for Romeo. He was hired in the third episode of Season One. He was not seen in Season Two until the series finale.
- T-Money (Catero Colbert) is a street gangster. He helped Chance to be more street-oriented. They also had a brief relationship together during Eddie's aftermath of infidelity. He only appeared in Season One.
- Dre (Merwin Mondesir) was an owner of a furniture store and Wade's second boyfriend until Wade and Noah have gotten back together. He was introduced to the series in Season Two. He was involved in a car accident after seeing Wade and Noah having an affair.
- Quincy Abraham (Keith Hamilton Cobb) is one of Dre's long-time high school friends. He was introduced to Noah and briefly dated him. He was introduced to the series in Season Two.
- Baby Gat (Jason Steed) is an English rapper who is starring in Noah's feature film Fine Art. Baby Gat is straight but has a desire to be with Noah.
Characters from the film
- Brandon (Gary LeRoi Gray) is a college student who attended one of Chance's courses at the university. He traveled with Ricky to Martha's Vineyard for Noah's wedding. He has a crush on Chance, causing problems with Eddie.
- Mrs. Robinson (Tonya Pinkins) is Wade's mother. She does not know that Wade is gay until Noah told her while inviting her to their wedding.
