List of Running Man missions in 2015
The following is a list of missions that have aired on Running Man in 2015 (episode 228–279) in chronological order. Missions that have been modified or which are played during another mission are grouped together. For other details, please refer to the List of Running Man episodes article.[1]
List of missions
Road races/Themed races
These missions are variants of the race missions, which involve travelling through a city and between destinations to complete missions. Later episodes moved away from the "race mission + other missions" format and entire episodes became a race with missions during the race. Some episodes would feature special themes that form the race.
Staple missions
These missions were a main part of the show and played in many episodes along with the race mission.
- Photo Zone (포토존 게임) - Teams must appear in a designated area with their faces showing when a photo is taken.[2][3]
- Bells of Hide and Seek (방울 숨바꼭질) - Bells of Hide and Seek is a shortened version of the race mission. A "chasing" team wearing bells must catch the "mission" team by taking their name tags from their backs in an allotted time. The "mission" team will need to find hidden items in the landmark before the time runs out and not be caught by the "chasing" team. The "mission" team will win if they manages to complete the mission within the allotted time and not get caught by the "chasing" team, while the "chasing" team will win if they manages to capture all members of the "mission" team[4]
- Name Tag Elimination
Name Tag Elimination is a variation of Bells of Hide and Seek. It features a similar gameplay with the original game, except that this game is a deathmatch-like game, in which any member that has its nametag ripped will be ousted. Any chances to revive is impossible unless there will have a change of rules, or the player has a chance to have additional nametags before the game. The main mission is simply eliminate each other, but sometimes will feature additional missions that required the player to eliminate each other to obtain clues or items. The last man standing will win.
Sometimes the game will feature spies. The spy can be one of the members, the guests, or both.
- Dodgeball - Two teams will throw a ball to the opposing team's area. A member is out if any part of their body is hit by the ball. The ousted members will go to the opponents area to help the attack. The team with the last man standing will win.
- Queen/King Dodgeball
The game is the same as the original dodgeball, except that one of the members will be the "queen/king" that must not get hit by the ball. The last man standing will be invincible in order to protect the "queen/king". The team with its "queen/king" surviving is the winner

Notes
- ↑ There are 4 coloured doors, members must complete the mission in each door (Yellow > Blue > Red > Black). Once the mission in the door complete, they will move on to the next door.
- ↑ Lee Kwang-soo failed the final mission given by Yoo Jae-suk, thus eliminating himself.
- ↑ Everyone wins but Ji Suk-jin decides and takes all the 10 R gold for himself due to his own decision.
- ↑ The culprit team members can move the meteorite to 1 of them and the person holding it can move it to other members as well. If the member holding the meteorite is caught, the entire team is eliminated
- ↑ The ones who got eliminated from both teams while moving to the next mission became The Extras and they're considered not counted for the team's final victory despite the contributions.
- ↑ The dangerous couple's goal is to gather all the couples in one hall for them to win while the other couples have to avoid the hall of the dangerous couple to win.
- ↑ The quick-witted detectives will not given any mission instructions, thus they must find out themself to cover their identity
- ↑ The prize for this episode will be forwarded to the next episode since no winner/s are decided for this episode.
- ↑ Haha and Byul are the only ones qualified for the final mission since they had the least amount of rings.
- ↑ Yoona is the Angel Code thus it's her own individual win.
- ↑ The heroes (guests) nametag cannot be ripped nor they can rip any nametags. They only can assist the members. The heroes can only be eliminated if their respective members were out.
- ↑ Ji Suk-jin did Mafia Team's mission because he failed to guess his identity correctly, so he solely didn't won despite his contributions to the team.
- ↑ The names listed in the winner(s) column are those who escaped together with their respective VJ's. Those who either VJ's or members escaped first were NOT counted.
- ↑ The members and their VJ's can choose to escape if their nametags are acquired
- ↑ Each team will pick 1 out of 20 foods of a drivers restaurant, and later must ask the taxi drivers food recommendation. The teams will eat the foods continuously until they found a taxi driver whose recommended food matches with the teams choice
- ↑ Special participation in the final mission by students recruited from Ewha Womans University, Sungshin Women's University, Hongik University, Kyung Hee University, Korea University & Yonsei University.
- ↑ The team leaders(Yoo Jae-suk, Kwon Sang-woo, Sung Dong-il) must create their team by eliminating the members nametag. The remaining members will join the team leader that ripped his/her nametag
- ↑ Ji Suk-jin was eliminated when he was caught trying to steal the gifts too, thus he couldn't win the prize despite his team's victory
- ↑ All 7 casts were asked to invite 93 more guests themselves to reach 100 members for the Running Man Team. When the Running Man Team members reaches 20, 40, 60 & 80, a mini game will be played with players from the Athletic Heroes team that corresponds to the amount of players of the other team. If the Running Man Team wins the game, they have a chance to reduce the number of Athletic Heroes Team members, up to 10 members.
- ↑ Uee, Im Seul-ong, Chi In-jin, Park Na-rae, Kim Jun-hyun, Shim Hyung-tak, and Lim Ju-hwan couldn't able to join the final mission because of schedule conflicts.
- ↑ Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, and Lee Kwang-soo were not selected for the final mission so they became one of the spectators for the final mission
- ↑ The R-man didn't know who is the X-man and must help the X-man for not get caught in the final mission. If the X-man didn't get caught, the X-man and the R-man wins the race
