- Admiral Robert J. Kelly (born 1938), former Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
- John P. Washington (1908-1943), Army chaplain who was one of the Four Chaplains who gave their lives to save soldiers during the sinking of the troop transport Dorchester.[1]
- Charles J. Watters (1927-1967), Army chaplain who was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for bravery exhibited while rescuing wounded men in the Battle of Dak To, Vietnam.[2]
