Following is a list of mayors of Kansas City, Kansas.[1] In 1997, voters approved the consolidation of the governments of Wyandotte County, Kansas, with Kansas City to the "United Government Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas" . However, in popular terms the head executive is called the mayor.[2]
