Lophocalotes is a genus of agamid lizard, containing a single species, Lophocalotes ludekingi, endemic to Sumatra, Indonesia, commonly called the crested lizard.[2]
Etymology
The specific name, ludekingi, is in honor of Dutch physician E.W.A. Ludeking, who collected specimens for the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie, Leiden.[3]
