Luo Wen-jia (Chinese: 羅文嘉; pinyin: Luó Wénjiā; Hakka: Lò Vùn-kâ; born January 1, 1966), a Taiwanese politician, was born in Xinwu. Luo is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), and once served as an assistant to Chen Shui-bian, a national legislator at that time. After Chen was elected mayor of Taipei, Luo became the city government spokesman. In 1999, Luo occupied the chair of the Department of Propaganda of the DPP.

After Chen became the president of the Republic of China, Luo transferred to the vice-chairmanship of the Council for Cultural Affairs of the Executive Yuan. In 2001, Luo joined the legislative election and was elected as a legislator. He was subsequently appointed as the chair of the Council for Hakka Affairs in 2004.

2005 Taipei County magistrate election

In 2005, he ran in the election for Magistrate of Taipei County,^[1] but lost to Chou Hsi-wei, the Kuomintang (KMT) candidate.

2008 Republic of China legislative election

Luo joined the legislative election again in 2008, but was defeated by Diane Lee.
