Lyons Motor Car is a US based car company focused on creating "America's luxury sports car company" to compete with European sports car companies, like Bugatti, Pagani, Ferrari, or Lamborghini. Lyons Motor Car was established in 2011 and is based in New York City. The company is developing their first vehicle, the LM2 Streamliner.[2]

Lyons Motor Car founder, Kevin Lyons a Graphic Designer, and Graduate of School of Visual Arts, began artistic education at the age of 4 and studied the great renaissance, cubism and modern art masters throughout his life which covers the full breath of human physiology medical and artistic anatomy and bio- mechanics.

Kevin Lyons Father, Duke Lyons Jr., a Longshoreman Mechanic and fabricator (deceased), had a "turn a wrench for a living"-mentality, and his vast knowledge was transferred from his father, Duke Lyons Sr. He then in turn transferred these mechanical, electrical and engineering skills to his sons, Kevin and Bryan Lyons, who instituted his lifetime teachings into every project undertaken, and continue to do so under the banner of Lyons Motor Car LLC.

LM2 Streamliner

LM2 Streamliner is a carbon fiber constructed vehicle with a mid mounted, dual overhead cam, 8.2 litre billet aluminum twin turbocharged V8 developed by Nelson Racing Engines[3] in Chatsworth California.

Lyons Motor Car announced the LM2 Streamliner to have "1700 hp and 1610 lb. ft. torque" and the top speed of around 290 mph. It would go from 0-60 MPH in around 2.2 seconds and 0-100 MPH in about 4.1 seconds.[4] It was originally supposed to debut during the 2015 New York Auto Show, but the company claimed that it wasn't ready in time for the media press days.[5] Instead, they unveiled the styrofoam model of the LM2 Streamliner during the public days of the 2015 New York Auto Show.[6] No words have been said for the LM2 Streamliner.
