MA Hashem is the founder and chairman of Partex Group.[1][2] He was a former member of Parliament from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.[3] In 2007 he was arrested by the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh.[4] He was charged by the Anti Corruption Commission Bangladesh for multiple tax evasion cases.[5] His wife is Sultana Hashem.[6]
