Macair Jet is a domestic airline of Argentina. Its main base of operations is Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Buenos Aires.
Avian Líneas Aéreas
Macair Jet was acquired by Synergy Group in March 2016. The company has been renamed as Avian Líneas Aéreas S.A. and will operate as Avianca under a brand license agreement. Synergy Aerospace announced an order for the purchase of 12 firm ATR 72-600s to be operated by Avian Líneas Aéreas under Avianca Argentina. The new airline is expected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2017.
