manSEDANse was a festival of electronic music, art and culture taking place in Tampere, Finland, organized by the non-profit organization MadAssRevir ry.[1]
The festival's name is a play on three words: Tampere's nickname "Manse", short for "Manchester of Finland", SEDAN being the name of a series of parties organized in 2000-2001 which marked the birth of the festival organisation, and "danse" referring to the rave and dance atmosphere.
The festival included programming during the week such as workshops and lectures on topics related to electronic music and surrounding electronic culture. The main music events took place on weekends. The last manSEDANse was held in October 2011.
