Marcellino de Baggis (1971–2011) was an Italian cinematographer and director. He directed and shot the award winning documentaries Herculaneum: Diaries of Darkness and Light, and Mistero e Sgomento. During the last years of his life, De Baggis worked with the United Nations on their ground-breaking Ending Hunger[1] campaign for which he shot and directed numerous commercials, PSAs, and informercials.

de Baggis has won a Capitello d’oro, a Premio Chatwin e il Bellaria Film Festival.
Personal life
De Baggis was married to the Italian art and architectural restoration expert Grazia del Giudice with whom he had one son.
