PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (Matahari Hypermart) is an Indonesian retail chain that sells items for daily needs.[1]
History
Matahari Hypermart was established on March 11, 1986. It was based on notarial deed No. 30, dated March 11, 1986 of Budiarti Karnadi, S.H. and was approved by the Minister of Justice in Decision Letter No. C2-5238.HT.01-01.Th.86, dated July 26, 1986. It was published in Supplement No. 73 of State Gazette No. 2954 dated September 20, 1991.[1]
Initial Public Offering
In December 1992, Matahari Hypermart listed its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the Surabaya Stock Exchange. These later merged and were renamed as the Indonesia Stock Exchange.[2]
