Matlab was an Upazila (subdistrict) of Chandpur District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[1] In 2000, the administrative area was subdivided into Matlab Dakshin Upazila and Matlab Uttar Upazila.[1]
Research
Matlab, including both Matlab Dakshin and Matlab Uttar Upazilas, is the primary rural field site for the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh, and the world's longest running health project.[2][3]
