Mckenna Grace (born June 25, 2006[1]) is an American child actress known for playing the role of Jasmine Bernstein in the series Crash & Bernstein and Faith Newman in The Young and the Restless. As of 2016, she plays Penny Kirkman in the ABC television series Designated Survivor.

Career

In 2013, Grace made her acting debut, playing Sydney in the television pilot Joe, Joe & Jane.[2] Later she recurred on the Disney XD series Crash & Bernstein.[1] Grace also had a recurring part playing Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless between 2013 and 2015.[3] In 2015 she had a recurring role on the CBS series CSI: Cyber.[3]

Grace played the role of Daisy in the science fiction thriller film Independence Day: Resurgence; the film, directed by Roland Emmerich, was released on June 24, 2016.[4] Grace is set to play the lead role in the drama film Gifted.[5] She also filmed the significant role of Juliet in the horror film Amityville: The Awakening along with Bella Thorne; Franck Khalfoun directed the film which is scheduled for release on January 6, 2017.[6]
