Memnonium
Memnonium may refer to;
- Memnonium (Strabo), three monuments in Egypt described by Strabo (XVII.42) as a Memnonium, one at Crocodilopolis (the Labyrinth), one at Abydos (Temple of Seti I) and at Thebes (Temple of Amenhotep III – Ramesseum - Temple of Seti I)
- Memnonium, name used by travelers and visitors to Thebes for the ruins of the Ramesseum around 1750-1850 (including variants like Temple of Memnon or Memnonia).
- The Memnon Competition (George Washington University), a 2005 interdisciplinary design competition to build a self-actuating solar thermal musical instrument. These devices are sometimes called a Memnonium.
