Michael Barthorp
Michael Barthorp is a British historian and writer, specialising in military history and military uniforms. He lives in the Channel Islands.
Barthorp attended Wellington College and served in the Rifle Brigade as an officer during World War II. A career officer, Barthorp also served in the Royal Hampshire Regiment, Northamptonshire Regiment and Royal Anglian Regiment.
He is a member of the Victorian Military Society, and has contributed to their magazine Soldiers of the Queen.
