Michele Clark Academic Prep Magnet High School (commonly known as Clark Prep, Clark Academic Prep) is a public 4–year magnet high school and middle school located in the Austin neighborhood on the west side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The school is named for the first African–American female network TV reporter and journalist Michele Clark. The school opened as Austin Middle School in 1972.[3]
Athletics
Clark competes in the Chicago Public League (CPL) and is a member of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). Clark sport teams are nicknamed Eagles. The girls' basketball team were regional champions in 2004–05.[4]
