"Morena" is a song written and mixed by Romanian DJ/producer Tom Boxer and recorded by Romanian singer Antonia. The song leaked on internet in October 2009 and was officially released in January 2010. The song reached number-one in Bulgaria, Poland, and Romania. It also reached the top 10 in Hungary and Israel. The song was performed by singer Morena on the X Factor Bulgaria.
Music video
The music video is about a lesbian girl, Antonia, who recently returned to her home country to visit her lover, Morena. But when she arrives at the bar where Morena is, she finds out that she had sex with a guy. Disgusted, Antonia leaves the bar crying. Morena follows her, and explains to Antonia that she was scared and tried to be normal, at least once in her life. Antonia kisses Morena, they make up, and they leave together in Antonia's car.
